Robin Clayton Counselling
BACP Reg 337600
If your use of drugs or alcohol has started to cause you problems or if your behaviour around pornography is compromising your relationships and self esteem, I can help. I also work with individuals struggling with co-dependency, anxiety, depression, shame, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I provide a safe and judgement-free space where you can speak freely about the things you would like to change.
I have over 20 years of experience in supporting clients with issues around substance use (drugs, alcohol) as well as compulsive sexual behaviour. I help clients to gain freedom from negative patterns in their lives within a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds, helping to increase awareness of negative and self defeating patterns of behaviour and developing new opportunities for change.
I use an integrative approach, looking at thoughts, feelings, and past experiences as much as looking at the negative consequences of substance use and/or compulsive sexual behaviour.
I've personally experienced therapy as a means of growth and self-discovery. I believe it can be a life changing process that can lead to self worth, healthy relationships and a sense of fulfilment.
